Greetings and salutations Wow-of-the-Weekers,
I am writing today with (to me) big news from the Wow world.
As some of you know, the Wow has been around for awhile (since March 2008, to be exact.)
Today I am writing to say that this will be the last Wow of the Week.
“Why?” you ask.
Because I have taken the decision to go back to school for 3.5 years to become a yoga therapist.
“What the heck is a yoga therapist?” you ask, “And will you still be coaching and speaking and writing and whatnot?”
“How’s that going to work?”
I’m glad you asked.
The easiest way to answer is to give an example of how this training will enhance what I already do.
Say you have to give an important speech. As Frances Cole Jones, author/presentation coach, I would have come in and helped you prepare to present the most engaging material in the most effective manner possible.
As Frances Cole Jones, author/presentation coach and yoga therapist I will be able to talk to about your speech AND make suggestions for handling your insomnia (due to nerves about giving your speech) AND give advice about that pesky pain in your neck/back/wrist (due to hunching over your keyboard working on your speech.)
Because let’s face it, you can be ready to give the speech of your life but if you’ve been up all night with insomnia and a backache that’s going to take away from your hotsy-totsy…
Given that, my goal for this training is to learn how to provide more nuanced, thoughtful, holistic help to anyone wishing to present their most authentic, effective, brilliant self in any situation.
“So what are the next steps?” you might be wondering.
I am going to begin by going quiet like a submarine for the next three months.
During this time, as is also the case with a submarine, there will be a lot of activity below the surface.
Come October, you will see a refreshed website, lots of new pictures, loads of new material, and be greeted with a redesigned, weekly Wow, which will be arriving in your in box as:
Here and Wow.
I can’t wait to share what I learn with you.
See you in October.
P.S. Please know, should you have any questions/concerns/dilemmas/situations during this time, I can always be reached at my email address: email@example.com. I love to hear from you!
